How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
In 2009 God called me into the ministry of counseling. In 2010 I was ordained as a Commissioned Minister of Pastoral Counseling by the National Conservative Christian Church; in 2011 I received my master's degree in Christian counseling from Pillsbury College and Seminary. I was licensed as a Clinical Pastoral Counselor by the National Christian Counselors Assn. in 2011. I am currently completing work for a doctorate in Clinical Christian Psychology and Counseling.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
There are few professionally trained Christian counselors. Rather than a business, Mercy Counseling and Coaching is a Christian ministry.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
One location, no plans to expand at this time.
What type of payments do you accept?
Not all services require a fee. For those that do, I accept cash or check.
Which areas do you service?
Washington and Frederick counties in MD; Franklin, Fulton, and Adams counties in PA; Berkeley and Jefferson counties in WV. Services are open to anyone who is comfortable coming to Hagerstown, MD.

What are your hours of operation?
By appointment only. Generally counseling appointments are for weekday evenings and Saturdays.
